Hello, my name is Jeff Dorau.

 

Ever since I was young, I have had the desire to build and create with my hands. Growing up, our home shop is where you would find me (if I wasn’t playing whiffle ball or riding bikes in the neighborhood). My interest in learning different trade skills led me to taking all the welding classes I could during my adolescent years. This in turn started my career in construction, that continued for the better part of 14 years.

 

My wife and I started our family and have two lovely girls. With the demand and long hours of construction, I decided to change course and go into real estate, to allow more time to spend with my family. With a flexible schedule at hand, I was able to rekindle my craft by building in my own woodshop at home.

 

Starting with custom furniture for our home, to assisting close family and friends with their own projects, Nomad Woodworks began to grow and expand. Now, we do everything from custom furniture and CNC work, to home repairs that include refinishing or recreating antique millwork pieces.

 

At Nomad Woodworks, customer satisfaction and quality work are our number one priority.

 

Without these two components hand-in-hand, we would not be able to grow as we have.
